Reedición de Easy Action, álbum de la banda sueca de nombre homónimo que irrumpió en la escena glam en 1983.

 


Easy Action, fue una banda sueca en 1983 lanzó un álbum homónimo donde combinaba sin tapujos las referencias glam procedentes de ambos lados del atlántico, las setenteras, llegadas desde Inglaterra, y las ochentenas, provenientes de Estados Unidos, de ambas, facturaron un híbrido que les dio buenos resultados en su debut pero que no fueron determinantes a largo plazo.

Ahora se reedita el álbum en cuestión, incluyendo, además, otros temas que debían constituir su segundo larga duración y algunos más recientes, en directo, de sus posteriores reuniones en 1989 y 2006.

Estamos ante una grabación que transmite frescura e invita a la fiesta sin mayores complicaciones, con un sonido bastante agudo en la afinación de las guitarras, demostraciones de habilidad en cuanto a los solos y ritmos de fácil digestión.

A muchos, les sorprenderá la presencia en sus filas del guitarrista Kee Marcello, más reconocido por su posterior vinculación a los superventas Europe, grupo con el que obtuvo una mayor rentabilidad, tanto económica como a nivel de éxito. Asimismo, el vocalista Zinny J. Zan obtuvo mejores reditos al enrolarse en Shotgun Messiah. Completaban la formación, Alex Tyrone (bajo), Freddie Van Gerber (batería) y Danny Wilde (guitarra). Luego intervendría el también guitarrista Chris Lynn. En la actualidad, el grupo cuenta con una alineación en la que, además de Marcello y Zinny, están Simon Roxx (guitarra), Micael Grimm (bajo) y Grizzly Hoglund (batería).

Un álbum para el divertimento y para reencontrarse con un estilo desenfadado y pegajoso, que incluye un interesante trabajo de guitarras de fondo. Una colección de canciones en las que se reflejan las fuentes del estilo, como puede comprobarse en Number One, todo un homenaje al hit de los ingleses The Sweet, Ballroom Blitz.

Animos exaltados y un guión sonoro sujeto a los patrones habituales del universo glam, determinan todas y cada una de las composiciones. Un álbum para redescubrir a Easy Action como una banda que también forma parte de la historia de aquellos alocados tiempos de pelos encrespados y divertimento hasta las últimas consecuencias.
