El dúo más prometedor, prolífico e inesperado del momento visita la ciudad condal para adelantar el material de su inminente trabajo.

Con su saxo de sirena, su hipnótica voz y su verdaderamente neurótico sentido del ritmo, Jessie Evans ha alterado el orden desde su primera aparición en el año 2000, dentro del legendario grupo femenino Subtonix. Ya en el 2002 formó The Vanishing, un trio liderado por su bajo, su voz y su saxo. Su oscuro y futurista sonido se reforzaba con su salvaje presencia en escena y es que sus directos nunca dejaban pasar la oportunidad de incendiar la pista de baile. Su incontinencia musical continuó, formando parte de otros proyectos como Autonervous o colaboraciones con Glass Candy y Bettina Koster.

Finalmente, el año pasado empezó a producir su primer álbum en solitario, en el que se involucró, y aún continúa, Toby Dammit (Iggy Pop, Swans, Residents).

A su encuentro ha aportado su exótico surtido de batería y percusión. Además, en ese disco están colaborado otros músicos como Budgie (Siouxsie and the Banshees), Martin Wenk (Calexico) o Namosh. El disco aún está siendo grabado en Berlín por Thomas Stern (Einsturzende Neubaten) y mezclado en Tijuan por Pepe Mogt (Nortec Collective).

Toby Dammit, ahora oficialmente acompañante en directo de Jessie Evans en el formato de dúo, invita a Jessie a explorar interesantes territorios. Toby es conocido por sus nueve años acompañando a Iggy Pop, a la vez que también lo hacía con los Swans y The Redidents. Además, ha colaborado con artistas como Rufus Wainwright, Devendra Banhart, Frank Black, Ryan Adams, etc.
