El 12 de marzo Aurum lanza en DVD Cuentos de Terramar, la nueva película animada de Studio Ghibli dirigida por Goro Miyazaki, hijo de Hayao Miyazaki. La película estará disponible en dos versiones: la edición sencilla 1 disco y la edición especial 2 discos en caja metálica.

La edición de 2 discos presenta interesantes extras, entre los que se incluyen un reportaje sobre el reparto de voces originales, los tráilers japoneses y un documental sobre la música de la película, que cuenta con la participación del músico español Carlos Núñez. Además, en el disco 1 se ha incorporado el storyboard completo de la película sincronizado con el audio de la misma.




 Sinopsis

En el reino de Terramar, hechos extraños empiezan a ocurrir... Lo más sorprendente es la visita de los dragones provenientes de tierras lejanas. Estos fenómenos son tan extraños que Gavilán, un reputado mago, decide investigar su causa. Durante su viaje, conoce al príncipe Arren, un impetuoso joven con un profundo lado oscuro que en los momentos críticos le confiere fuerza, odio y crueldad, sobre todo cuando se trata de proteger a la misteriosa joven Therru.

Para la bruja Cob ha llegado la oportunidad que estaba esperando. Su objetivo es aprovecharse de los temores de Arren para volverle en contra de la única persona que podría ayudarle, el mago Gavilán.


El Mundo de Terramar

Cuentos de Terramar traslada al cine la serie de novelas El Ciclo de Terramar. Ursula K. Le Guin, su autora, ha recibido diversos galardones internacionales, como el Nébula en 1969 y 1974, y el Hugo en 1970 y 1975. El Ciclo de Terramar está compuesto por las novelas “Un mago de Terramar”, “Las Tumbas de Atuán”, “La costa más lejana”, publicadas entre 1968 y 1972 (reagrupadas en un solo volumen, “Terramar”), “Tehanu”, escrito 18 años más tarde, en 1990, “Cuentos de Terramar” en 2001 y “En el otro viento” en 2001.


Extras Edición 2 Discos

- Storyboard. El storyboard completo de la película escena por escena. Permite disfrutar del audio del film y contemplar cómo se enlanzan los bocetos originales durante todo el largometraje. Incluido también en la edición sencilla de 1 disco.

- Cómo se creó la canción de Therru. Nos trasladamos al estudio con Aoi Teshima para asistir a la interpretación de la canción de la película.

- Detrás de los micrófonos. Sesiones del doblaje original japonés y entrevistas con los protagonistas.

- Especial NTV. Documental de la televisión japonesa en el que el actor Junichi Okada (Arren) descubre los entresijos del universo de Terramar.

- Cómo se compuso la banda sonora de Terramar. El equipo de músicos participantes en la película, entre los que se encuentra Carlos Núñez, comenta el uso de los instrumentos utilizados en la banda sonora.

- Tráilers y spots japoneses.
